Rooted floating vegetation of mesotrophic waterbodies

Formations of waters dominated by rooted aquatic plants with floating leaves. Usually species-poor habitats with dominance of one or several species. Typical species are , [Potamogeton nodosus], [Ranunculus sphaerospermus], rarely [Polygonum amphibium] and [Nuphar lutea].
