Description
Springs with cold, acid to neutral, oligotrophic waters, dominated either by mosses or vascular plants, depending on light conditions and altitude. Species-poor communities, especially in lower altitudes, including several associations, with characteristic species [Bryum pseudotriquetrum] and [Conocephalum conicum].
